During the 2025 season 229 fishing licenses were sold (2024: 201) and 956 fishes were reported on Gjerfloen Flyfishing (2024: 1026). Like the previous year, we had bad fishing conditions most of the time. We had long periods with high water and strong wind. The first week of October we had some good fishermen here here. Even if the conditions were not optimal, we see that those who can the tricks, always get good catches,

October started with high water, but nevertheless, good fishermen had good catches. 16 daylicenses were sold and 230 fishes were landed. Catches per day were 16,4.

Fishing conditions in August started like July, but became quite good at the end of the month Åke Norlén, Swden landed 81 fishes during 3 and a half days at the end of the month. 84 daylicenses were sold, 321 fishes were laqnded. Average 3,8 catches per day.

Fishing conditions in June were tricky because of strong wind most of the time, but water flow was under normal in the beginning of June. 39 daylicenses were sold, but only 27 catch per day reports were delivered. Those who delievered reports had 4,6 catches per day.

The fishing conditions are beginning to bne good. Kenneth Fidje, Norway, landed 14 graylings during a short session yesterday. All with nymphs. According to the weather prognoses the fishing conditions will improve every day the next week

Like the previous year, we had bad fishing conditions most of the time. We had long periods with very high water most of the time time only the smaller fish near the bank were reachable. The first week of October Norwegian Cup Flyfishing was arranged here. Even if the conditions were not optimal, we see that those who can the tricks, always get good catches, See statistics below.
