20th of July. (Monday) 33 mms of rain since yesterday! The waterlevel is at the moment going up 10 mms pr hour. Waterflow 95 m3/s this morning. Watertemp 15 C degrees. We have now, due to the weatherconditions, had 3 weeks of difficult fishing. Last Friday and Saturday we had nice weather and the fishing began to be a little bit better, but now it's down again! I presume that the conditions will not improve untill Thursday or Friday. Neveretheless, a few czechnymph graylings were landed today too!

The waterflow will culminate tonight and due to less rain the flow will decrease again. This weekend it seems we shall have airtemp between 13 and 19 C degrees and some rainshowers. The fishing conditions will be OK.

8th of July. Rain last night and today brought the waterflow up to 64 m3/s 6 o'clock this afternoon. Watertemp 15 C degrees.

7th of July. The waterflow down to 61 m3/s this morning. Watertemp down to 15 C degrees. Optimal watertemperature and waterlevel at the moment. GO FISHING TODAY!

6th of July. The waterflow down to 63 m3/s this morning. Watertemp down to 17 C degrees. Weather, watertemperature and waterlevel at the moment are beginning to be optimal! I am convinced that today and tomorrow will be a highlight to good fishermen. Wednesday is predicted to be rainy so therefore: GO FISHING NOW!

5th of July. The waterflow down to 64 m3/s this morning. Watertemp 19 C. Because of high watertemperature last week (up to 23 C degrees late afternoon), the fishing has been very tricky. Next week we shall have colder weather and some rain. Lower watertemperature will generate better fishing.

3rd of July. The waterflow is down to 69 m3/s this morning. Watertemp 20 C. Intensive rising in the middle of the night!

2nd of July. The waterflow is down to 72 m3/s this morning. Watertemp 19 C. Intensive rising in the middle of the night!

26th of June. The waterflow is down to 83 m3/s this morning. Watertemp 18 C degrees at 2 o'clock PM. 12 fishermen on the flyzone today. Knud Nørregaard Hansen, Denmark, reported 24 landed graylings during the day. A selfmade Danica imitation was the winner. Kenneth Johansson, Sweden, had 17 graylings, 15 of them were 35 - 39 cms and 5 (30%) were +40 cms.

24th of June. The waterflow is down to 87 m3/s this morning. Watertemp 14 C degrees. 10 fishermen on the flyzone at the moment and they can report good fishing. Most of the graylings are between 30 and 40 cms, and a few +40 cms too. The danicas are now hatcing all over the flyzone!

23rd of June. The waterflow is down again to 89 m3/s today. Watertemp 12 C degrees. Conditions for dryflyfishing is very good.

20th of June. Rain yesterday brought the waterflow up to 105 m3/s this morning. Watertemp 10 C degrees. Hatching Danicas are observed on the lower part of the flyzone also today, but not on the upper part yet. The graylings have been very selective and difficult to catch also today. Fishing conditions are good.

19th of June. The waterflow is normal, 98 m3/s this morning. Watertemp 10 C degrees. In spite of rain and cold weather, we can see lots of hatching and risings. The fishermen report that the fishing are very frustrating today as the graylings are neglecting even the most beautiful artificial creations. Breaking News: The first DANICAS were observed on Gjerfloen Flyfishing this afternoon! Matt Hayes (Discovery Channel) and fishingguide Espen Eilertsen (Call of The Wild) made the observations on the lower part of the flyzone late this afternoon. Next week the weather prophets promise warm weather and no more rain. I think you know what it means ;-)

17th of June. Waterflow down to 97 m3/s this morning. Watertemp 10 C degrees. Fishing conditions are good.

16th of June. Waterflow up again to 103 m3/s this morning. Watertemp 10 C degrees. Sulphurea, Rhodani, sedges and stoneflies are hatching at the moment. Next week we shall see the first danicas, may be some also this weekend on Gjerfloen Flyfishing. Further north a few days later. Fishing conditions are good.

15th of June. Waterflow down to again to 100 m3/s this morning. Watertemp 10 C degrees. Fishing conditions are good.

14th of June. Very good fishing on Gjerfloen Flyfishing this weekend. Team Karlskoga; Anders Nord, Mikael Nord, Stefan Nordh, Lars-Erik Stenman and Jouni Rissanen landed 201 graylings from Thursday afternoon till Saturday evening. 5th of June. Waterflow is going down again and the flow at the moment is aprox 120 m3/s, very near the normal for the time being. Due to cold weather the last few days the watertemp is down again to 9 C degrees today. Warmer weather is predicted and we shall see hatching and risings again this weekend!

1st of June. Waterflow is going down and the flow at the moment is very near the normal for the time being. Watertemp 13 C degrees today. We have seen a lot of rising fish this weekend, BUT NO FLYFISHERMEN!

24th of May. Waterflow and watertemp stable, 135 m3/s and 9C degrees also today.

21st of May. The first rising graylings are observed today! Normally we see the first rings on the water between the 5th and the 10th of June. Waterflow stable, 135 m3/s. Watertemp up to 9C degrees today.

19th of May. Waterflow down to 135 m3/s. Watertemp 8 C degrees. No hatching yet, but conditions for nymphfishing is OK.
