The fishing conditions the first three months were never really good, but nevertheless, June and August were "All Times High". While July was the best month last year with more than 1000 catches, it seems to be quite the oposite this year. August last year was a disaster, while the August figures this year are very high. It was mainly the first week and the last weekend which "did it". In September we had good fishing conditions most of the time and this month was also "All Times High" concerning the number of fishermen and catches. Also this month dryfly turned out to be the best. Fishing conditions in October were good most of the time, but the fishing was not always easy. Total catches 2006 were 2710. this year we have 3352, an increace of 24% compared with last year. Average catch fisherman/day 2007 is 6,3. Last year the cpd was 7,0.

Report 9th of July. Watertemp 16 C degrees. Waterflow down to 78 m3/s this morning. The waterflow is the lowest so far this summer, and it is beginning to be wadable on most places, but the fishing is not so good at the moment. I guess that more sunshine and higher air pressure would make it better.

Report 8th of July. Watertemp 16 C degrees. Waterflow down to 79 m3/s this morning. The fishing this weekend has been not so good. Either dryflies or nymphs worked very well, however, czech nymphing on Saturday gave some fishes. A short period of rising activity in the middle of the night.

Report 2nd of July. Watertemp 16 C degrees and waterflow 86 m3/s. The fishing was OK and dryfly was the best also today. The waterflow now is the lowest so far this summer and the fishing conditions are beginning to be really good as the river now is more wadeable on wider areas.

However, team Corrado (6 persons), Italy, did very well and landed more than 100 graylings during the day, all sozes up to 43 cms. Nearly all was caught on dryfies size 10 and 12. A few Danicas were still observed hatching.

Report 26th of June. Watertemp 15 C degrees and waterflow 107 m3/s. Czech nymphing before noon worked quite well. The afternoon and evening fishing was not so good. Rainshowers yesterday brought the waterflow a little bit up, but nicer weather is predicted and the water will go down again. I guess we shall have quite good fishing the rest of this week.

Report 25th of June. Watertemp 15 C degrees and waterflow 103 m3/s. There are still a few Danica observed, but the "blow" is over and from now on the sedges will be more and more common on the water. I think Klinkhammer, E-12 and ants will be a good choice the rest of this week.

Report 24th of June. Watertemp 14 C degrees and waterflow up to 102 m3/s. Two rainy days brought the waterflow up again and today the fishing has not been so good. The weatherforecast says warmer weather and no more rain the next days so I think the graylings will "wake up" again very soon.

Report 22nd of June. Watertemp 16 C degrees and waterflow 95 m3/s. Lars Viberg (Denmark) landed 14 "dryfly" graylings during one and a half hours in the middle of the day. Fishing conditions are good.

Report 17th of June. The First Danicas appeared here on Friday 15th Watertemp 14 C degrees and waterflow 105 m3/s. The change in the weather was good for the fishing. Team Isaksson (6 persons), Sweden, landed 75 graylings up to 46 cms this weekend. Please see the photogallery page.

Report 14th of June. Cold weather and rain today brought the temperature down to more normal level, 15 C degrees, waterflow 104 m3/s.

Report 11th of June. Watertemp: 18 C degrees, waterflow 107 m3/s. Fishing conditions are beginning to be good. Colder weather from now on will bring the watertemperature down to a normal level again.

Report 9th of June. Watertemp: 18 C degrees, waterflow 116 m3/s. 9 fishermen from 4 duifferent nations on the flyzone today. See pictures on the photogallery page. The graylings are rising and the best times for fishing are before noon and evening. The Sulphurea (Gul forsslända) appeared today. In less than a week now we shall also see the E. Danica here!

Report 8th of June. Watertemp: 17 C degrees, waterflow 125 m3/s. Today different insects were hatching on the flyzone area and the graylings were rising regularly. It seemed they were "picking" something just under the surface. The Sulphurea and the Danica are not obsrved here yet, but the Sulphurea (gul forsslända) might appear any day now.

Report 5th of June. Watertemp: 15 C degrees, waterflow slowly down. Things are going fast now. The heat has generated hatching of insects that we normally see later. According to rumours the E. Vulgata has been observed hatching in the slowstreaming parts of the river, two weeks earlier than normal.

Report 4th of June. Watertemp: 13 C degrees, waterflow stable, 150 m3/s. Yesterday 4 Austrian flyfishermen caught 11 graylings, 3 of them were +40 cms and some just under 40 cms. Superpuppa (yellow body) worked best for them. The fish started to rise around noon. Today Lars Lövgren and Jan Djärf (Sweden) caught 18 graylings. The biggest ones were hooked on a big version of Leon Wulf.

Report 28th of May. The first mayflies (Marginata) is hatching now and rising graylings are observed! Watertemp 9 C degrees and water level a bit lower than normal. Flyfishing season is finally here.

Report 18th of May. Waterflow 170 m3/s this morning. Watertemp 7 C degrees. The waterlevel is at the moment aprox. 60 cms under normal for this time of the year. Most of the snow is melted and the water is already quite clare and I therefore expect an early flyfishing start this season. If we get some warm weather I think we shall see the first Mayflies (marginata) in the air and on the water in just a few days! The graylings are hungry now after a long winter and they will react immediately - the first rings on the water!
