River mussle

This kind of mussle is very rare in this area, but there are a few and they can be up to 300 years old! If you find one of them, please report to me. Please let them live and don't take them out of the water. This one was found here in 2002.

October 2010

Stefan Linder and grayling

11th of October. A beautiful October grayling in the hands of Stefan Linder, Sweden. Minus 6 C degrees in the morning and high water (112 m3/s), but the sun warmed up the graylings during the day and in the afternoon and the dryflies worked.

September 2010

Project "SALMON BACK TO THE TRYSIL RIVER " is now recognized by Sweden and Norway on governmental level and financed by the the two countries' departments of nature and environment. The 23rd of September members of the COUNTY ADMINISTRATIVE BOARD OF VÄRMLAND and ENVIRONMENTAL AND FISHERY ADMINISTRATION OF HEDMARK were visiting different parts of the river on the Swedish and Norwegian side on order to learn more about the river.

27th of June. Team Andino Reisen, Switzerland, leaving after a "big week's stay" at the flyzone cabin. They reported 151 landed fish. Toni Muheim was the "kingfisher" with 70 landed graylings and a rainbow (49 cms)!
