The "Blackbirds"
Members of the Czech national flyfishing team, Daniel Svrcek and Martin Mikulka, fishing on Gjerfloen the 25th and 26th of August Sunday, till 6 o'clock in the afternoon they had caught 70 fishes together, all on nymphs ("goldheads" and other specialties). Most of the graylings were around 35 cm, 10 were + - 40 cm, biggest 42. I myself landed 10 dryfly graylings between 5 and 6 in the afternoon, a period when the Chech nymphs gave nothing. Monday was even better. They landed together 89 fishes. Biggest: Grayling 47 cm.
