NYMPHS
a
real challenge for flytiers (and others...)

Don't
be afraid that your flyfishinglife will end. Be
afraid that it will never begin.

Nice
weather and warm water, but Jakub Gujda, Poland, had success with a big emerger.
24th
of June

Roger
Ôst, Sweden, landed 20 nice dryfly graylings during the day. 2 of them were
+40 cms. Here he is showing the photographer a 37 cms on the upper part of the
flyzone.
22nd
of June

Marc Vlerick, Belgium, caught this nice pearch at Landsjøen. 47 cms, 1.555
grams
19th
of June

Matt
Hayes (Discovery Channel) and fishingguide Espen Eilertsen (Call of The Wild)
were very frustrated as most of the graylings, in spite of lots of risings, neglected
their artificial flies.

Lars
Lövgren and Jan Djärv, Sweden, looking at the rising graylings on the
upper part of the flyzone.

"Team
Karlskoga" Sweden at the flyzone cabin. They were very satisfied with fishing
so far that day and there were more to come! Please, see the "News"
page.

Dag
Arne Berget, Trysil Fellesforening for Jakt og Fiske, taking a look at the new
streams we made last autumn.
27th
of May

Ther
first fisherman on Gjerfloen Flyfishing this year, Mattias Strobl, Germany. A
very early spring this year made it possible for him to catch some nice dryflygraylings
in May.

Here
is the new stream at Gjerflokoia (left) created in November last year. The water
is still high, but this looks very promising! Waterflow 180 m3/s and watertemp
4,5 C degrees this morning.

The
new stream at Halvorsøya, upper part.

Here
the path from the parkingplace used to cross a ditch, now it has become a lovely
stream.

At
the lower part of Halvorsøya it used to be stillwater. I think the graylings
will find the area much more atractive now! The fallen tree is cut down by a beaver.
February

Team
Rob Neuhaus (Holland) on Landsjøen the 25th of February. It was more than
60 cms of snow on the ice, but the weather was nice and the pearches seemed to
like the Dutch way of iceangling!

One
of the smaller perches obviously wanted to have a closer look at Eric Neuhaus

A
bigger one showed interest for Nôel Brouwers

Rob

Rolf
van Dort was the "kingfisher" of the day

Just
before ending the session, Maarten Neuhaus hooked this nice pearch, here assisted
by Stéphanie Bakker
